Location : Steeple Chase Plaza - Coney Island Boardwalk Brooklyn, New York
These massive letters are 15' tall and weigh over 1 ton each! Needless to say this project was a tremendous undertaking. To create such gigantic signs it takes a whole team, well teams to be exact. The project included a construction company, an architecture firm, an engineer, a world renowned graphic designer, and of course our sign team. I was fortunate enough to provide art direction for the project and was able to ensure these great letters came out exactly as intended, These letters are part of the larger renovation of Coney Island's Steeple Chase Plaza; a project budgeted at over $18 million dollars.
